Making art part of life!

The Palos Verdes Art Center, a non-profit community arts organization has provided South Bay residents with quality visual arts education for more than 70 years.  The Art Center features classes for all ages from 4 to 104 and for all ability levels, from local beginners to professionals.  

Instructors are professional artists and art educators, many of them also teach at local colleges.  Studio art classes are offered in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and design.  Additional classes focus on art history, the business of being an artist and literary arts.

Term begins in January, April, July and September.  Class fees are kept low.  Limited financial assistance is available through the Alpay Memorial Education Fund for those who cannot otherwise afford to participate.  For further information about the Palos Verdes Art Center's visual arts education program, please call Angela Hoffman, education coordinator at 310-541-2479.
