About the Artist-David Lee
Watercolor painting is a constant challenge to David's curiosities for
various subjects--painting whatever object attracts his eyes and
arouses his imagination. One will find variety in his work through his
depiction of people, landscaping, flowers, still life, animals, or a
weathered old door and wall.
Artist David Lee, wants to convey his observations and appreciation of the beauty
of nature and the environment through a realistic way that people can
easily understand and share the joy of his feelings. He also wants to
remind people, through his paintings, that interesting things of beauty are
all around us just waiting for us to discover.
His work is realistic yet contemporary.
He uses the watercolor
medium to convey his expressions in his works. David likes to show light
and dark effects, interesting geometric shapes, and details of
natures in a quiet and peaceful mood. His works are included in the
Artist Magazine, The Best of Watercolor Vol. 3, Splash 6, and The Best
of Portrait Painting.
