Museum of Modern Art's education building

Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building located in the eastern sector of the museum complex will allow greater flexibility for MoMA's educational programming and house four of its seven curatorial departments.

The eight-story, 63,000 square feet structure provides ample space to expand the number of students and adults who will interest in the programs.  It also allow the institution be able to work with different audiences simultaneously.  Standing across the sculpture garden from the museum, the new building contains three state-of-the-art classrooms equipped with video conferencing equipment for distance learning.

These facilities host the education department's programs, including courses for adults, partnerships with schools, workshops for teachers, family initiatives, and offerings for people who are visually or aurally impaired or otherwise disabled.
