Art for All!

The Art for All program was established in 1980.  It provides quality programs for seniors, adults, and children with disabilities and special needs.  Since then, approximately 7,000 to 9,000 participants explore the arts through tours, workshops, lectures, and outreach programs each year.  

Programs are offered everyday except Wednesday, when the museum is closed.  Throughout the year, guided tours are offered that have been designed for people of all ages.  These tours use interactive techniques such as questioning strategies, use of hands-on objects, and dialogue to encourage visitor participation.

In tandem with the Los Angeles Unified School District, Art for All also offers programs for children with special education needs.  These two and four-week programs include guided tours and art workshops at the museum as well as visits to the school campus by an artist.
