About the Artist - Patrick Korch
Patrick Korch has just been juried into the Oil Painters of
American National Competition. He just returned from a 32-day tour of
France where he painted 58 canvasses all over France. He sold three
right off the easel to French passerby's. The French consulate is
seeking to use some of the paintings for posters to promote
tourism.
He has worked with and been influenced by Kevin McPherson, Matt
Smith, Ralph Oberg, Wayne Wolfe, Skip Whitcomb, Nelson Shanks, Daniel
Greene, and Sebastian Capella to mention just a few.
Patrick's award winning work has been published by Harper and Row,
and others. His works are in numerous private and corporate collections.
He is a member of the American Society of Portrait Artist, California
Art Club, Oil Painters of America, and the San Diego Artist Guild.
