Offering A Creative Atmosphere for Textile Artists

QSDS has developed a scholarship fund for qualifying students.  The scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating need, as well as commitment, for the purpose of studying quilting and/or surface design.  QSDS is sponsored by the Ohio Arts Council.

The symposium is all under one roof.  Classroom, Lodging, and dining facilities are located at the air-conditioned University Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.  This is just 15 minutes from Port Columbus International Airport and within a ten-minute drive to downtown Columbus.  The Plaza has easy access to the Columbus area's many attractions.

There is a free shuttle from the airport to the Conference Center.  The classrooms are large with sufficient design walls and work tables for each student.  Washing machine are available for the dye classes; sewing machines can be rented for classes which require them.
