International Quilt Festival takes place in Houston each Fall.  At the festival, quilters and quilt lovers can shop, see quilts, take classes, and reunite with old friends while making new ones.  Moreover, the special exhibitions included at the festival offer amazing opportunities in education for both beginner and the expert.

By viewing other artists' work, you can discover new sources of inspiration.  In addition to the inspiration, you also get the chance to uncover deeper insights into the most exciting art form in the world.  In November, 2000, I took a trip over there.  I was so impressed by the contemporary art quilts that I saw,  I have been working on various textile projects ever since.
