Making Professional Contact

Associating with textile organization will provide artists an opportunity to make professional contacts, share their experience, and receive advice.  Through the network, such as SP International, SDA, and TMA, textile artists from different countries are able to contact each other and share their ideas and enthusiasm for this wonderful textile art form.

No matter what the textile group, they will all work together by promoting, encouraging, and producing fabric arts at the highest level.  In addition to the national textile associations, your local quilt stores can be a good resource for your career development.  Each one of the shops often plans its' own activities, and tries to make its' facility and staff the best in serving the needs of its' customers.

Please look for Quilters' Travel Guide, if you are interested in searching on-line for quilt stores. Moreover, visiting the textile festival, you will also discover new sources of inspiration, and a prospective for new ideas.  Especially those exhibitions and educational programs included at the festival.  They offer amazing opportunities in education for both beginners and the experts.
