A solid foundation of HTML knowledge will become a valuable assets to your web site creation and management.  You can get this kind of training through the internet classes provided by Santa Monica College.

Each subject will cost you $64.  There are two sections of the course in HTML.  Some people took the two parts at the same time.  My suggestion is to take one course a time because you need time for your assignments.

The homework of these courses will walk you through the fundamental grounds of HTML language.  While taking the HTML courses, you might also want to have some graphical knowledge by also enrolling in courses such as Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photo Shop.  You can take these courses along with HTML classes through Santa Monica College. 

After the training, it is time for you to have some practical experience through software such as Microsoft FrontPage 2000.  The tutorial section of this program will provide you the way to your first web site design.  Through the software, the creation process will be easier than what you have pictured in your mind.
